PRODUCTION STAGES
The production stages of our Tamanu seed oil are the following:
TAMANU TREES
they grow in virgin soils of semi-desert atolls in the Polynesian archipelago of the Tuamotu islands. They don't grow on plantations but spontaneously where conditions are optimal, never undergoing any type of treatment.

THE HARVEST OF TAMANU NUTS
it happens by hand picking the nuts naturally matured on the tree and falled on the coral sand below. They are placed in bags and sent to the our oil mill.

THE OPENING AND SELECTION OF NUTS
nuts are opened one by one. Only those in perfect condition will become Tamanu seed oil.

DRYING
the selected nuts are placed in an elevated position on an untreated wooden surface and exposed to the sun and the sea breeze until optimal drying.

THE ACTIVITY OF THE CRUSHER
whose equipment is compatible with food production even if it is cosmetic oil.

BOTTLING
oil is bottled as soon as it is obtained in order to minimize its exposure to air and light without adding any other ingredient or preservative.

PACKAGING
it protects the quality of the product and it is recyclable in all its components

THE OIL MILL WASTE RESULT
it is ground to obtain compost and mulch for vegetable gardens and flowers pots thus returning to Mother Nature.
